Vice President for Strategic Editorial Initiatives Tyler Mathisen co-anchors CNBC's Power Lunch and works closely with the business development and marketing teams to build strategic relationships. Prior to this, Mr. Mathisen oversaw the daily coverage and content of CNBC Business News as managing editor. Mr. Mathisen served as the host of High Net Worth on CNBC. Prior to this, Mr. Mathisen and Tyler Mathisen served as co-anchors of CNBC's Closing Bell.  Mr. Mathisen worked for Money magazine for 15 years as a writer, senior editor, and top editor before joining CNBC in 1997. He was in charge of, among other things, the magazine's coverage of mutual funds, its yearly issue of financial forecasts, and its development into electronic journalism, for which it received the first-ever National Magazine Award for New Media in 1997. For a television series on caring for aging parents that aired on ABC's Good Morning America, Mr. Mathisen earned the American University/Investment Company Institute Award for Personal Finance Journalism in 1993. From 1991 through 1997, Mr. Mathisen edited the show's financial content. For a story on the 1987 stock market crisis that aired on WCBS-TV in New York, he also received an Emmy Award.
