Ty Simpkins Biography

Simpkins was born to Monique and Stephen Simpkins in New York City, New York. When he was three weeks old, he made his television debut. His debut performance was as John Jack Cramer, a recurrent character on One Life to Live. Simpkins immediately began a recurring role on The Guiding Light as Jude Cooper Bauer, a character he would play for around four years. Since then, he has made several appearances in print and television advertising as well as Law & Order: CI. Simpkins' movie cameo appeared in War of the Worlds, directed by Steven Spielberg. Simpkins' most noteworthy part to date, Aaron in the multiple-award-winning Little Children, came after a starring role in All the King's Men in which he played a young Jude Law. Simpkins later starred in the movie Pride and Glory alongside his sister, the actress Ryan Simpkins, as Colin Farrell's offspring. Simpkins also finished Gardens of the Night before appearing with his real-life sister Ryan in Revolutionary Road.
