South Korean girl group Twice was created by JYP Entertainment. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are the other nine members of the group. Twice made its television debut on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins. Twice was founded as part of the Sixteen (2015) television series.
The song "Cheer Up" by Twice, which peaked at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, became the finest single of the year, and won "Song of the Year" at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards, catapulted the group to domestic prominence in 2016.
