American heavy metal band Trivium was founded in 1999 and is based in Orlando, Florida. Eight studio albums and more than twenty singles have been released by the band since they were signed to Roadrunner Records in 2004. Worldwide, the band has sold more than a million records.
The thrash influences of Metallica, Machine Head, and some early In Flames are evident in their approach as it has developed over the years from their initial work on Ember to Inferno all the way up to In Waves.
