Rapper Trick Daddy hails from Miami, Florida. The rapper was signed to the newly established record company by Ted Lucas, a former concert organizer, and current Slip-n-Slide Records CEO. When his subsequent album, www.thug.com, was released in 1998, Young dropped the Dollars from his stage name.
