Trevor Corson spent two years studying philosophy and history in China, three years living with Buddhist monks in temples in Japan, and two years working as a full-time commercial lobster fisherman on an island off the Maine coast on his journey to becoming a writer and educator.
Trevor teaches at the New School and Brooklyn Friends School in New York City, where he has written about food, health, religion, global affairs, and a range of other issues for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, and the Atlantic Monthly.
