Welcome Home, a weekly television program on the CW hosted by Treger Srasberg, chronicles the nonprofit's operations. The goal was to employ refurbished, lightly used household items to transform four empty walls into a pristine, respectable, and welcoming home. The idea behind Humble Design is that families leaving homelessness should have a place to call home each day that is welcoming and dignified. Many of these families are abuse victims who fled their homes and checked into an emergency shelter without a single personal item. For the most part, there are no beds, books, toys, or personal furnishings. Humble Design has extended to 4 locations throughout the country and can presently help up to 3 families per city each week. Treger adapted her BFA from SVA in New York and the ten years of expertise she gained working in the advertising and marketing industry to assisting actual people with actual issues.
