Tracy Broughton was raised in Orange County, California while being an Atlanta, Georgia, native. When Tracy was 3 years old, she was taken. With Tracy seated in the backseat, Tracy's father's automobile was taken. Fortunately, she was discovered when the auto thief left it.
Through junior high school, Tracy contended with her mother's illness as well as several difficulties, including domestic abuse. Because of the unpredictability in the family, Tracy even walked out at the age of 14 and supported by her parents, lived alone for a while.
