Tracy Broughton Biography

Tracy Broughton was raised in Orange County, California while being an Atlanta, Georgia, native. When Tracy was 3 years old, she was taken. With Tracy seated in the backseat, Tracy's father's automobile was taken. Fortunately, she was discovered when the auto thief left it. Through junior high school, Tracy contended with her mother's illness as well as several difficulties, including domestic abuse. Because of the unpredictability in the family, Tracy even walked out at the age of 14 and supported by her parents, lived alone for a while. Then, regrettably, in October 1991, she was involved in a catastrophic car accident in which the vehicle overturned and fell over a mountain. She was airlifted to the ICU after suffering severe injuries. Even now, she still maintains a few track and field school records!
