Torsten Gross functions as a marketing maverick who has worked as an elite CMO at Deloitte R/GA JWT and BBDO before leading growth at Aloqia and Queen of Raw. A diving accident at age 15 left him a C6 quadriplegic but he considers this incident as his most important day because "I drowned…and was clinically dead for 2.5 minutes. I see that as one of the best days of my life”.
Torsten refused to let his disability determine his path so he became the world's first and only rescue scuba diver with quadriplegia and finished 12 marathons in one year while starting his racing career. In 2023 he participated in International GT and HSR and World Racing League competitions with his hand-controlled Porsche Cayman while appearing in Pennzoil commercials and a new documentary series.
