Torrey DeVitto Biography

When Torrey was born, the entertainment world was all around her. When Torrey was able to walk, she already had her heart set on a career in acting and singing. She started taking violin lessons at age 6, and by the time she was in the fourth grade, she had risen to the position of fourth chair violinist in a high school orchestra in New York. She started taking acting lessons at Orlando, Florida's Zoe & Company. She started acting in print advertising and making commercials when she was 15 years old. When Torrey took part in the Spelling Production Safe Harbor in 1999, she finally got her big break in the acting world (1999). She appeared in the Nickelodeon pilot Noah Knows Best a year later (2000). She enrolled at the Crenshaw Performing Arts School during her junior year of high school, where she finished at the top of her class and six months early.
