Tony Moeaki is an American football tight end who was born on June 8, 1987. He has 30 receptions for 387 yards and four touchdowns as a senior at Iowa. In the 2010 NFL Draft, Moeaki was regarded as one of the best tight-end prospects. The Kansas City Chiefs selected Moeaki in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
On September 13, 2010, he scored his first NFL touchdown in his debut NFL game against the San Diego Chargers on a 2-yard throw from quarterback Matt Cassel on Monday Night Football. Following his 44 receiving yards and a remarkable one-handed touchdown grab against the San Francisco 49ers, Moeaki was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week.
