Urban Planning and Design for the American City, with its headquarters in New York, was founded by Toni L. Griffin. Through the practice, Toni served as Project Director for the Detroit Work Project's long-range planning program. In 2013, Detroit Future City, a comprehensive citywide framework plan for urban change, was completed and released.
Working with the cities of Memphis, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh are some of our most recent customers. At the Spitzer School of Architecture at the City College of New York, Ms. Griffin most recently held the positions of Professor of Architecture and Founding Director of the J. Max Bond Center on Design for the Just City.
