Thomas William Tom Hiddleston received his training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and he became well-known through several TV parts and, more recently, significant film roles.
He performed the roles of Captain Nicholls in Steven Spielberg's World War I drama War Horse (2011), Loki in the Marvel Studios blockbuster Thor from 2011, and Freddie Page in the British drama The Deep Blue Sea. In The Avengers (2012), he played Loki once more, and he'll do it once more in Thor: The Dark World (2013).
