The President and founder of the nonprofit organization known as the Center for Individual Opportunity is Todd Rose and he’s dedicated to maximizing opportunity using the science of the individual. At the Harvard Graduate School of Education he is the director of the Mind, Brain, and Education Program and also teaches educational neuroscience as a faculty member.
Rose’s work focuses on the science of the individual and its implications for developing talent, improving institutions of opportunity and advancing self-knowledge. He wrote the books titled The End of Average, and Square Peg: My Story and What It Means for Raising Innovators, Visionaries, and Out-of-the-Box Thinkers.
