American singer-songwriter, actor, record producer, and model Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe. When she started modeling and performing at age three, she started her career in entertainment. In Case We Die and Reverie, two critically praised mixtapes that Tinashe produced in her home studio, were released in 2012. Tinashe secured a deal with RCA Records after the mixtapes were released.
Later, she released Black Water, her third mixtape. Her first single, 2 On, peaked at number 24 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and at the top of the Rhythmic radio chart. Music reviewers hailed her debut studio album Aquarius, which was released in 2014, as one of the strongest debuts by a new female singer in recent memory.
