Kent State University's Timothy Rasinski teaches literacy education courses. More than 50 books or curriculum programs on reading instruction have been co-authored or edited by him, and he has produced more than 200 papers.
His best-selling book on reading fluency, The Fluent Reader, was published by Scholastic, and he is also a co-author of the Wright Group's award-winning fluency program, Fluency First. His research interests include struggling readers as well as word study and fluency in reading in elementary and middle schools.
