Timothy Olyphant has been a force to be reckoned with since his earliest on-screen performances, such as his two-minute cameo in The First Wives Club (1996) to Nicko, whose presence at times overwhelmed the island in A Perfect Getaway (2009). Timothy was born in Hawaii and was brought up in Modesto, California.
He is the son of Katherine Lyon (Gideon) and college professor John Vernon Bevan Olyphant. His younger brother Matt Olyphant, who was the main vocalist for the punk rock band Fetish and is also an artist, and his elder brother Andy, who works in A&R at Warner Brother Records, are also brothers.
