Tim Robbins, an Academy Award-winning actor, is highly renowned for both his advocacy and his acting prowess. Robbins helped form the theatrical company known as The Actor's Gang after receiving his degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1981. He originally came to the public's attention in the 1988 film Bull Durham, starring Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon, playing a charming oafish baseball player.
