Timothy J. Mohin, the author of the book "Changing Business from the Inside Out, a Guide for Eco-conscious Professionals Working in Corporations" is the CEO of GRI, the creator of the most widely used sustainability reporting standards globally. With extensive experience in corporate sustainability reporting, Mohin is tasked with guiding GRI toward making sustainability a crucial aspect of every organization's decision-making. Before he was appointed CEO, Mohin served as the senior director of corporate responsibility at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). He was previously the chairman of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) board and a member of the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative's steering committee. Mohin established and directed Apple's Supplier Responsibility program and was in charge of environmental and sustainability functions at Intel. Mohin started his career in the public sector, working for the Environmental Protection Agency, where he oversaw the development of the toxic provisions in the Clean Air Act Amendments. He later served as senior legislative staff for the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works chairman. Mohin holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the State University of New York at Cortland and a master's degree in environmental management from Duke University
