Tim was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the NFL Draft after playing All-American football while studying literature at Syracuse University. Tim spent eight years as a top defensive player for the Falcons. Tim began his writing career when he was an NFL player and also attending law school.
Tim had written his first book and graduated from the bar by the time he left football in 1994. He started working as a television broadcaster in addition to those two positions, doing so for FOX NFL Sunday and other programs including Battlebots, Good Morning America, Court TV, A Current Affair, and most recently, Find My Family.
