Tim Ferguson writes on international issues for Forbes.com and is the editor of Forbes Asia, the English-language edition of Forbes magazine for the Asia/Pacific area. He resides in the corporate office in New Jersey for the business. In 1995, Mr. Ferguson started working for Forbes as its West Coast Bureau Manager. From 1998 to 2001, when he was promoted to global editor, he worked as an assistant managing editor. He worked for The Wall Street Journal for 12 years as the Editorial Features Editor, Business World Columnist, and Member of the Editorial Board before joining Forbes. Mr. Ferguson is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City and serves on the board of the Overseas Press Club Foundation. He received a BA in Economics from Stanford University and has previously served as a media fellow at the Hoover Institution.
