Tim Fedewa Biography

Tim Fedewa is a NASCAR racer and the son of Butch Fedewa, a former racing car driver. Fedewa works as a spotter for Kevin Harvick in the #4 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Fedewa joined the American Speed Association after winning Rookie of the Year in the ARTGO Challenge Series. Fedewa finished in the top five on one occasion. On his route to the ASA's Pat Schauer rookie of the year title in 1991, he finished third at Winchester (Indiana) Speedway and had five top-ten finishes. Fedewa's vehicle owners, Ray and Diane Dewitt, also controlled the RaDIUS team, which fielded cars for former ASA great Ted Musgrave during his tenure in the ASA. Fedewa was at the wheel of the # 55 D-R Racing Enterprises Ford. Fedewa's NASCAR career began in 1993 when he began racing full-time in the NASCAR Busch Series. He would come second for Rookie of the Year, and over the next five years, he would win three races and place in the top ten in points four times, with his best performances of 7th in 1995 and 1998. He started driving the #36 Stanley Tools Chevrolet Monte Carlo in 1999 and stayed with the team for two and a half years before parting ways during the 2001 season.
