In 2007, after being inspired by the opening of the Velib bike-sharing program in Paris, Timothy Ericson co-founded Zagster. He combined his love of riding with his experience working in corporate IT at a Fortune 500 firm to found a business that today uses technology to make bikes available to hundreds of thousands of Americans.
In his capacity as CEO, he has received more than $2 million in fundraising from notable VC firms including Fontinalis Partners (the venture arm of Ford Chairman Bill Ford) and angel investors, including the original investor in Zipcar.
