Tim Carney is the Washington Examiner's senior political columnist and a visiting fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. The Big Ripoff and Obamanomics are two of his books. Carney is on the board of visitors for the Institute for Political Journalism and was the Eugene C. Pulliam Visiting Fellow in Journalism at Hillsdale College in 2012.
He is a Maryland-based graduate of St. John's College and a native of New York. He resides in the Washington, D.C., region with his wife and five kids.
