Tim Cahill is a former Australian professional association footballer who most recently played for Jamshedpur FC in the Indian Super League and for Australia's national side. He has formerly played for Millwall, Everton, New York Red Bulls, Shanghai Shenhua, Hangzhou Greentown, and Melbourne City. Cahill is an offensive midfielder who has also played as a striker on occasion.
Cahill is Australia's all-time top goalscorer, with 50 goals in 108 appearances between 2004 and 2018. He became the first Australian player to score in a FIFA World Cup. Cahill has scored in three World Cups and has the most goals scored by an Australian in a World Cup, with five.
