Tika Sumpter is an actress, model, and singer best known for her roles as Layla Williamson on "One Life to Live," a Daytime Emmy Award-winning serial opera, and Raina Thorpe on Gossip Girl. She was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award for both roles. She portrayed Jenna in the CBS television series "The Game." The Haves and the Have Nots, the upcoming debut drama on the OWN network, featured Tika in the starring role of Candace Young. Tika is succeeding on the big screen in addition to her developing television career. She most recently appeared in the movies Sparkle, starring Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks, My Man is a Loser, starring John Stamos, and Being Mary Jane, starring Gabrielle Union. What's Your Number, starring Chris Evans and Anna Faris, Salt, starring Angelina Jolie and Liev Schreiber, Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, Whisper Me A Lullaby, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit are a few other movies to add to your resume.
