DJ and song producer Tiesto, real name Tijs Michiel Verwest, is Dutch. He has been crowned the Greatest DJ of All Time in a Mix magazine fan survey where readers choose the finest DJ. He won the 2013 DJ Mag readers' poll for greatest DJ of the last 20 years.
Many people see Tiesto as the father of electronic dance music. At age 14, he started DJing. His early DJ sets mostly consisted of acid house and new beats. For his remix of John Legend's All of Me, Tiesto earned his first Grammy Award in 2015 for Best Remixed Recording Non-Classical.
