Since October 2014, Thorsten Dirks has served as Telef贸nica Deutschland Holding AG's Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Prior to this, he served as CEO of the E-Plus Group, which is now a part of Telef贸nica Deutschland. Since 2011, he has also served as a board member and been in charge of KPN, a Dutch telecommunications company global,'s mobile division.
Thorsten Dirks, who has a Master of Engineering, joined E-Plus in 1996 and over the course of several years served on the board where he was responsible for innovation networks, IT, and other things. The company's successful multi-brand strategy was largely his doing. Thorsten Dirks worked at a number of telecommunications firms before joining E-Plus, including Orbitel and Vebacom.
