Award-winning journalist Thomas Roberts hosts MSNBC Live on weekdays at 11 a.m. Roberts also fills in as the anchor of NBC's TODAY and MSNBC's "First Look." Roberts spent many months working as a freelance anchor before becoming a formal part of MSNBC's dayside crew in December 2010. Roberts worked as a journalist for CBS News before joining MSNBC's dayside crew.
Additionally, he made contributions to a number of entertainment programs, including "The Insider" and "Entertainment Tonight." Roberts formerly worked as a news anchor for CNN Headline News. A 2002 Emmy nomination and a Virginia Associated Press award were given to Roberts for his work on the documentary "Parvo Puppies," making him a distinguished journalist.
