Thomas M. Wright has carved out a unique route for himself in a variety of media as an actor, producer, director, and writer. Wright's acting accomplishments include a 2013 Critics' Choice Award nomination for his starring part opposite Elisabeth Moss in Jane Campion's "Top of the Lake" for Sundance Channel/BBC. Wright also received national and international acclaim for other roles.
Additionally, he played "Steven Linder" in the FX series "The Bridge," which won a 2014 Peabody Award and was based on the Scandinavian serial "Bron." Wright will be seen in Baltasar Kormakur's "Everest," a recreation of the 1996 "Into Thin Air" mountaineering accident for Working Title/Universal, together with Emily Watson, Josh Brolin, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
