Chef and proprietor of Café des Artistes in Puerto Vallarta, Thierry Blouet The paradise on the Pacific coast of Mexico was, as they say, born for commerce. Max Blouet, his paternal grandpa, served as general manager of Paris' opulent George V for 30 years.
Chef Blouet was raised in France and Mexico, countries where haute cuisine is a key component of the good life, by French parents. He was born in Puerto Rico in 1964. Blouet's twenty-year culinary career culminated with the most prestigious chef award in February 2000.
