Thomas Peter Theo James, a stage name for James Kinnaird Taptiklis, is a well-known English actor best remembered for playing Jed Harper in Bedlam. In the criminal thriller Golden Boy and the movies based on Veronica Roth's dystopian sci-fi novels The Divergent Series, respectively, Walter William Clark Jr. and Tobias Four Eaton can be seen.
With Billie Piper as his co-star in A Passionate Woman, James made his television debut. He portrayed Turkish ambassador Kemal Pamuk in a Downton Abbey episode from the first season. James played Jed Harper, the main character, in the film Bedlam. He played Jack Wales in the 2012 version of Room at the Top by John Braine.
