Thee Oh Sees is a 1997-founded American garage rock group from San Francisco, California. John Dwyer, the group's principal composer, and core member, plays vocals and guitar, Tim Hellman plays bass, and Ryan Moutinho and Dan Rincon play drums.
Thee Oh Sees' music draws influences from a variety of rock eras, including 1960s garage rock, psychedelic rock, punk rock noise, 1980s post-punk, and more. Thee Oh Sees began as a platform for Dwyer (Coachwhips Pink and Brown and The Hospitals) to disseminate his experimental home recordings.
