Greg Cahill, a banjoist, is the leader of the acoustic bluegrass band The Special Consensus. Nick Dumas on mandolin, Dan Eubanks on upright bass, and Rick Faris on guitar make up the rest of the band. The ensemble was a finalist for the Best Bluegrass Album Grammy Award in 2013 and 2019.
