The Offspring is a 1984-founded American rock group from Garden Grove, California. The current lineup of the band, which was first known as Manic Subsidal, is the rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist Bryan "Dexter" Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, and bassist Todd Morse. The Offspring have produced ten studio albums throughout their 39-year existence.
They have also had several band changes, most notably with their drummer. Ron Welty, who took over for founding drummer James Lilja in 1987 and remained with the Offspring for 16 years, was their longest-tenured drummer. In 2003, Atom Willard took Welty's position as the Offspring's drummer, and four years later, Pete Parada succeeded him.
