Rapper and actor Jayceon Terrell Taylor is better known by his stage name, The Game (or just Game). The Game is well recognized for his work as a rapper in the West Coast hip-hop community and for signing with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Records as one of his signers. He was born in Compton, California, and signed to Dr.
Dre's Aftermath Entertainment label immediately after releasing his debut mixtape, You Know What It Is Vol. 1. Following the success of his major-label debut album, The Documentary in 2005, he proceeded to have success with the follow-up Doctor's Advocate in 2006. The Documentary received a double platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America in March 2005.
