Jon Arman (vocals/guitar), Jack Rose (guitar), Scott Ruth (bass/vocals), and John Fontana make up the Los Angeles, California-based rock and roll group The Futures League (drums). The Futures League has performed at several well-known LA venues since the band's founding in late 2012, including The Troubadour. The Echoplex, The Satellite Bootleg Theater, and The Observatory have performed as The Kooks' direct support act, among other big-label groups. KCRW grabbed them up to headline their "School Night" event at Bardot Hollywood after they played an infinite stream of gigs on their local circuit and at the renowned SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Soon after, the group received an invitation from lifestyle gear company O'Neill to perform at an event in Hossegor, France, in support of the 2013 Quicksilver Pro surf competition. As they were keen to generate buzz for their upcoming Don't Be A Drag EP, which will be released on June 10th, TFL were greeted home from their European travels with many 2014 gigs throughout the greater Los Angeles region. Gus Seyffert, widely known for his work with The Black Keys, Beck, Norah Jones, and Michael Kiwanuka, produced the album.
