The Capitol Steps are a group of former Congressional staffers that mock their former jobs in over 300 concerts each year around the country. Despite the fact that the Steps are located in Washington, D.C., 90 percent of their performances are not in the city.
Some celebrities and politicians have performed on the Capitol Steps, including Sam Donaldson, Al Gore, Larry King, Pat Robertson, Fawn Hall, Surgeon General Koop, and President Bush. Presidents Reagan, Ford, Clinton, and Bush have all seen the ensemble perform.
