From their earliest years growing up in the southeast Los Angeles suburb of Downey, California, under the guidance of T-Bone Walker and Big Joe Turner, to their ascent to the forefront of the diverse LA punk/rock scene in the early 1980s to their current position as universally imminent influences in their privilege, the Blasters have dedicated their lives to examining and communicating the profound and varied melodic heritage best exemplified by the title of their first collaboration.
