Since 2012, Terrence A. Duffy has served as interim Executive Chairman and President of CME Group. He is responsible for overseeing the commercial hubs of most of his subordinates and the whole planet. CME Group handled 3.4 billion contracts for futures and options in 2011, with a notional value of more than $1 quadrillion.
Since July 2007, Duffy has served as acting executive chairman of CME Group. Since April 2002, he has served as executive chairman and chairman of the Board of directors of CME and CME Holdings, respectively.
