The Executive Director of the Partnership on Artificial Intelligence is Terah Lyons (P.A.I.). Terah worked as a Mozilla Foundation Technology Policy Fellow before joining P.I.A. Terah served as a policy adviser to the U.S. chief technology officer in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (O.S.T.P.) during the Obama administration.
In this capacity, she oversaw a strategy portfolio centered on machine learning, including A.I. application autonomy and astute transportation frameworks. In her role at O.S.T.P., she organized and led the White House Future of Artificial Intelligence Initiative's mechanical autonomy approach.
