American visual artist and fictional character Telma Hopkins. Hopkins developed into a distinctive personality from the thriving music duo Tony Orlando and Dawn in the 1970s, which had a few number-one singles. She also appeared with Tony Orlando and Joyce Vincent Wilson in the CBS theatre production Tony Orlando and Dawn from 1974 to 1976.
Hopkins began working as an entertainer in the late 1970s, taking on roles in several sitcoms, including Isabelle Hammond on Bosom Buddies (1980–1982) and Adelaide Addy Wilson on Gimme a Break! (1983).
