Tayo has more than sixteen years of experience working in various technical and managerial positions in the high-tech financial services and private equity sectors. He is the CEO and founder of Paga Nigeria, one of the leading portable installment companies. His efforts at Paga have received widespread recognition; in 2014, CNBC named Tayo the West African Entrepreneur of the Year.
Paga Tayo was preceded by Travant Capital Partners' vice president, a private equity fund in West Africa. Manager of Corporate Development for Cisco Systems in San Jose, California, before joining Travant Tayo. Tayo is a financial expert and consultant for ChopUp, a Nigerian mobile gaming start-up; ReelFruit, an organic product handling agribusiness; and Yswara, an indigenous African luxury brand.
