Tauren Wells Biography

Tauren Wells is an American Contemporary Christian musician, pastor, and songwriter. Hailing from Battle Creek, Michigan, he was formerly the frontman of the Christian pop-rock band Royal Tailor, which earned two Grammy nominations and a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. 

Wells launched his solo career with his debut album, “Hills and Valleys” (2017), featuring hits like "Hills and Valleys" and "Known," the latter earning RIAA platinum certification and Grammy nominations. His subsequent albums, “Citizen of Heaven” (2020) and “Joy in the Morning” (2022), also garnered Grammy nods, with singles like “Famous For (I Believe)” topping Christian charts. 

In 2024, Wells and his wife, Lorna, founded the Church of Whitestone in Austin, Texas, where they serve as lead pastors. They have four sons and run the Prisma Worship Arts School.
