An unconventional Australian singer known as Tash Sultana (short for Natasha Sultana) is renowned for her fiery vocals, arrangement of various instruments, and circular pedals. She first came to public attention in 2016 via the Internet with live recordings of her one-lady band performances, playing multi-layered compositions influenced by classic hard rock and alternative stone with innovative and expressive vocals. Additionally, that year was jam-packed with touring commitments, with performances scheduled in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the United States, and Canada. The Mystikal single debuted in October 2017. Four Aria Award nominations, including Best Blues and Roots Album and Breakthrough Artist, helped Sultana round out her stellar year. In September 2018, a review of Sultana's debut full-length compilation, Mystikal, appeared online.
