Takeshi Kaga is a character in the Japanese television show Iron Chef. The show's host, Kaga, is shown as a rich and eccentric gourmet who lives in his castle with a tiny army of elite cooks. Kaga appeared in a PBS program with the Les Miserables worldwide cast.
Takeshi made his Broadway debut in 1977 as the first Japanese Tony in West Side Story and the first Japanese Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar in 1976.
