Professor Sylvia Hurtado works in the Higher Education and Organizational Change Division at UCLA's Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. The Cooperative Institutional Research Program is housed at the Higher Education Research Institute, which she now directs (CIRP). The longest-running experimental study of advanced education involving data collection on students and professors is called CIRP.
