She was previously known as Syd Vocalist, poet, record producer, circle racer, and sound specialist Tha Kyd. Syd is a self-made professional who served as Old Future's former DJ. She released her solo album Fin in 2017 and is the main vocalist for the Grammy-winning soul group The Internet. The group came to a consensus of acceptance.
She was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient in Music in 2019.
