The Former University of South Carolina women's basketball team head coach. She had her greatest seasons in 2001 and 2002, going 25-7 and 23-8, respectively. Currently, Walvius serves as co-founder and co-CEO of SHEEX, Inc., a maker of sheets and pillowcases made from high-tech athletic-performance materials. Wallis and Michelle Marciniak, a former South Carolina assistant, launched SHEEX, Inc.
in 2008 to provide "the first athletic-performance sheets in the world." SHEEX offers similar moisture wicking, temperature management, breathability, and stretch not seen in classic cotton sheeting and is made from components often found in contemporary sporting clothing.
