A survivor of Merkel cell carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer, she will always appreciate her daughter Sarina for asking her, "Mom, what's that on your nose?" She now plays a vital role in the prevention and early detection of skin cancer through her work with the Skin Cancer Foundation.
